The QX56 is available in only one trim; but both a two- and all-wheel drive model are available. The QX56 model comes standard with automatic on/off HID headlights, front fog lights and body-color running boards. A power rear liftgate, power sliding tinted glass moonroof, and power folding, heated outside mirrors with integrated turn signals, courtesy lights and reverse tilt-down feature is also standard on all QX56s. On the inside the QX56 comes standard with power windows with one-touch up/down, tri-zone automatic temperature control system, outside temperature display and 9 cup holders and 4 bottle holders. Leather-trimmed seats with 10-way power driver’s and 8-way power front passenger’s seats, heated front seats and steering wheel, and dual occupant memory system are also standard on all QX56s. The audio system is a 13-speaker Bose® Premium Audio system with 2 subwoofers, XM® satellite radio, 9.3 GB hard drive, USB connection port and Bluetooth® phone system. An 8-inch color display screen for standard navigation system with XM NavTraffic® and XM NavWeather® is also featured.
The 2011 QX56 has many available options to add including a number of different packages. The Theater Package includes dual 7-inch color monitors with two wireless headphones, wireless remote control and auxiliary audio/video input jack. The Deluxe Touring Package includes 22-inch aluminum-alloy wheels, hydraulic body motion control system, climate-controlled front seats, heated second row seats, Advanced Climate Control System with auto recirculation, Plasmacluster air purifier and Grape Polyphenol filter and headlight washers. A Technology Package adds to the standard list of available technology with Intelligent Cruise Control, Lane Departure warning and Lane Departure Prevention, Distance Control Assist and Blind Spot Warning.
The Infiniti QX56 model is built with a 5.6-Liter V8 aluminum-alloy engine and a 7-speed automatic transmission with Adaptive Shift Control. Both the two- and all-wheel drive models have an EPA estimated fuel economy of 14 miles per gallon in the city and 20 miles per gallon on the highway.
The 2011 QX65 models come with a number of standard safety features including, dual-stage front air bags, driver and front-passenger front seat-mounted side-impact airbags, roof-mounted curtain side-impact air bags with rollover sensor and front-seat active head restraints. Zone body construction with reinforced passenger compartment and front and rear crumple zones as well as electronic brake force distribution, brake assist, and 4-wheel anti-lock braking system are all standard safety features on the QX65.
