The 2011 Infiniti G Coupe offers a deeper level of performance than others in its class; it is the first in Infiniti’s line-up to receive the Infiniti Performance Line (IPL) treatment. The IPL creates an even sportier and better performing vehicle. The Infiniti G Coupe has best in class standard horsepower and gives a performance to rival any other coupe in its class.
The 2011 Infiniti G Coupe is available in four different trim levels: G37 Coupe, G37 Coupe Journey, G37x Coupe AWD, and the G37 Coupe Sport 6MT. All four models come standard with a 3.7-Liter V6 engine as well as 7-speed automatic transmission with Adaptive Shift Control and Drive Sport mode; with the exception of the Sport 6MT which uses a close-ration 6-speed manual transmission with short-throw shifter. The G37 Coupe and Journey models have an EPA estimated fuel economy of 19 miles per gallon city and 27 miles per gallon highway. The G37x and Sport 6MT get an estimated 25 miles per gallon on the highway and an average of 18 miles per gallon in the city.
The base G37 Coupe come standard with keyless entry and ignition, leather interior, power driver’s seat, and a seven-inch color display for audio, climate control, fuel economy, and maintenance. A tilt and telescopic steering column and power windows with one-touch up/down and safety auto-reverse system are also standard. The media center is a six-speaker audio system with AM/FM/CD with MP3 capability, Radio Data System, speed-sensitive volume control, and XM® satellite radio.
The G37 Coupe Journey adds to the base G37 model with a dual-zone automatic temperature control system, heated front seats, and rearview monitor. The media center includes Bluetooth® phone system, and a USB connection port. An auto-dimming inside mirror with HomeLink® Universal Transceiver is also standard on the Journey. The Infiniti G37x Coupe AWD includes all of the standard features as the G37 Coupe Journey, but comes equipped with intelligent all-wheel drive.
The premium G37 Coupe Sport 6MT rides on standard 19-inch aluminum-alloy wheels and has sport brakes, a sport-tuned suspension, sport front fascia and a moonroof. The entertainment system includes a premium 11-speaker Bose® audio system with voice recognition for audio, information, and navigation systems. A 9.3 GB music box hard drive and multimedia playback of DVD or digital file from a USB flash drive on 7-inch color display. The Sport 6MT also comes standard with a navigation system with lane guidance and 3-D building graphics.
There are number of standard safety features on all G37 Coupe models including dual-stage front airbags, driver and front-passenger front seat-mounted side-impact airbags and front-seat active head restraints. An anti-lock braking system, tire pressure monitoring system, brake assist and Vehicle Dynamic control with traction control system is also standard safety equipment on the 2011 Infiniti G37 Coupe.
